Dear Family and Friends,

We had our first ever church staff and Leader retreat last month at the Far Reaching Ministries guest house. The aim of the retreat was to encourage the staff who have tirelessly served at our church for years. David found skirt steak and BBQ’d Carne Asada for the staff. After dessert we had a bible study from David and a time of worship. It was so good to just hang out and fellowship with the brethren. The next morning we had a devotion by Nicholas then more worship and prayer time. After that we did a few Team building exercises and games. Arie shared a message before lunch. Then after lunch we departed for home.  It was a refreshing time for our church staff and leaders. David encouraged  them to do all things for the glory of God alone.

Dave has also  started having “ home fellowship” at the church on Sunday nights, he wants to train up people to host home fellowships in their homes. Dave goes through the morning message and encourages people to ask questions and discusses the message and its application in detail followed by time of prayer.

Prayer and Praise

• Please pray that the Lord would give Dave wisdom, strength, vision  and guidance to serve in all the ministries God has on his plate for God’s glory.

• Praise report: Our daughter Bianca’s scalp fungus, has finally cleared. Thank you so much for your prayers!

• Please pray for the people of Kenya as the Kenyan shilling is the 2nd fastest declining currency this year, food and housing prices have gone way up . The poor people are having a hard time affording food and basic needs. Please pray our Jehovah Jireh would  provide for them.

• Please pray that the Lord would provide sufficient finances for our family.
