Dear Family and Friends,
Hope this newsletter finds you well and abiding in our Lord Jesus Christ .
We had a team of 10 visit us from Calvary Chapel High Desert. The team visited homes of our church members, they evangelized, put up an Out reach concert, some of them taught at our mens, Children’s and women’s ministries.
Benedictor, who is a bible college Graduate and faithful brother in the church: feels called to reach the muslims in Mombasa for Christ . He is planing to move there with his family next month to start a church.Dave visited the coastal part of Kenya, Mombasa, along with the visiting team, while Twinkle and the girls remained behind in Nairobi. They travelled by bus & the trip was bumpy, hot and humid & dusty, it took us 11 hours to arrive at Likoni, Mombasa. Once there Dave taught at the conference 1 Timothy about Qualifications of a Pastor/ Bishop. Benedictor, Arie and Pastor Bryan Dupont (CC High Desert) also taught. The Conference was held at a “Baptist” church in Likoni, many of the people who attended the conference had questions about marriage and about the qualifications of a pastor.
Benedictor plans to start a Bible Study in Banburi next month.
While the pastors taught at the conference , the rest of the visiting team from CC High Desert taught VBS ( Vacation Bible Study) to children in Likoni. Please pray that the Lord would use Benedictor and his wife to reach many for Christ in Mombasa.
The Visiting team also sponsored a “ Freedom in Christ” Outreach concert at the church, many headlining Kenyan Christina artists performed and the Gospel was shared and many received Christ as their savior during this concert! Praise the Lord!
Rabuna Fi Women’s Conference
Womens Conference : Twinkle was able to organize the conference on Colossians 3:1 “Put off and Put On” was the theme of the conference. Vicky Bentely (of FRM) was the main speaker. Twinkle taught some of the workshops at the conference. The Conference was sobering for most women as they realized the importance in walking in the Spirit and not giving in to the lusts of the flesh.

Our family was able to visit Naivasha and go on safari at Nakuru National Park along with the CC High Desert team , our children enjoyed the trip a lot. Twinkle got to share gospel and lead a woman called Sophie (whom we met at a local souvenir shop in Naivasha ) Praise the Lord!
Bianca also performed at a ballet show that her dance school put up.

Dave taught a portion of the book of 1 Timothy. After the teaching there were questions on why women can not be pastors. As we looked at the context of ch2 and Ch3 and how Paul takes us all the way back to the Garden of Eden to show us that God gave men and women there roles in marriage and in the formal congregation setting. You could see the faces of many understanding. Praise God.
