PRAISE REPORTS:

Our women’s conference on Sept. 11th was a great blessing. About 150 women came, hungry for the Word of God. All of us were filled! Josie Pfluker, from C.C. Chino came and shared with us a teaching. A big thank you to C.C. Pacific Hills who sponsors this event every year.

Construction has begun for dorm rooms at the men’s discipleship home in Ensenada. Praise God for His provisions. We truly see the Lord’s hand in this as He is fully providing all that is needed.

1. Please pray for Pastor Chris’ health. He is experiencing, once again, heavy fatigue due to stress, I believe! Pray for the Lord to CONTINUE to raise up godly men and women both churches to help carry the load.

2. Pray for our upcoming all church mission’s trip to San Felipe, Oct. 1st – 3rd. We plan to do Fiesta de Libertad, (Festival of Freedom), like a mini Harvest Crusade. We also plan to build a house for our missionaries there, Octavio and Betty. Pray for provisions for the trip and the house.

3. Pray for provisions to finish our new youth room at CC Tijuana.

4. Pray for the family of Yandi Pacheco, a young girl from our church who went home to be with the Lord. She ended her battle with cancer. Pray for COMFORT for her family. They all love Jesus very much!

5. Pray for comfort and peace for Lorena, a church member who lost her husband a couple of weeks ago. He was murdered in front of his home.

6. Pray for finances for all of us here in these hard economic times.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU PRAYER WARRIORS!!

GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY,

Prayer Requests: With my trip rapidly approaching (September 26th – November 20th), I am doing some of the final calculations for my financial needs for my trip and am still $500 short of my goal. I am also cutting it very close with my personal finances at home and fear I may not be able to pay some of my bills before I leave. I know and trust that God will provide me with everything I need – He has never ceased to amaze me with His provision for my life and trips, in the past. Please pray that He will continue to provide the funds needed and that I will continue to trust in Him no matter what.

I’m excited for this next trip and look forward to all that is planned for me out there. I know that this is a essential step toward my future as a full time missionary in Nepal. I will be staying with a fellow missionary at a mission hostel while I am there and am excited to get to know her better as well as the others who are staying at the hostel.

Please also pray for the fiance visa paperwork to continue to go smooth. We turned in the paperwork two months ago and it is still in the review process. The average processing time for the California office is about 5 months…so we are ALMOST there!! Pankaj will most likely have his interview with the American Embassy while I am in Nepal.

Thank you for your prayers!

God Bless,

Here is what is burning in out hearts for prayer:

1) Please pray for our Saturday fellowships, that the Lord would bless them and add to them. We would like even more people to come, and need wisdom on how to expand that ministry.
2) Pray for me (Marc) that I would have a fresh experience with God, and that I would be spiritually equipped for the ministry ahead. I am very eager to put that spiritual dryness behind me.
3) Pray for the family that is coming to help us. They will be moving in a few weeks and still need a solution for their business. Either somebody must take it over or they will have to close it down with a big loss.
4) Pray for our personal lives, that we would manage our time and affairs wisely and to God’s glory, that we may be more effective with the vision God has given us. “Plain” life has a tendency to keep you busy enough, and we need enough time and energy for the ministry.

Thanks for all your prayers and support!

Please pray for Ends of the Earth Ministries as the ministry moves forward to share the gospel with the unreached around the world

Praise Reports

Chris returned from Africa safely and was able to help at the Saving Grace Word Missions Golf Tournament.

Chris’ time in Uganda was fruitful with Promise Child. He was able to follow up with the work that has been ongoing in Midigo, Uganda. In addition Chris was able to encourage two new Calvary Chapel church plants, Calvary Chapel Yumbe and Calvary Chapel Arua. Both of these new church plants are in 95% muslim areas. Please continue to keep these new churches in your prayers.

Chris was able to attend and be fed as well as teach at the Calvary Chapel East Africa Pastor’s Conference in Nairobi Kenya with Saving Grace World Missions. He was also able to spend time with Pastor Dave Zavala and his family to learn more about Calvary Chapel Nairobi and the area in which they are spreading the gospel.

Chris was blessed to spend time with Nadeem Massey the Pastor at Calvary Chapel Pakistan and share ideas for children’s ministry in Pakistan.

In His Service,

He has never ceased to amaze me with His provision for my life and trips.

Pray for our Transition.

We have moved into our new home in Aurora,Colorado. We are 5 minute from Lynns School and 10 minutes or less from Calvary Chapel Aurora. It is a great to be in the community we live and worship in. On the other hand it has been a very difficult. The day we were moving Lynn fell down the basement stairs at her parents house and sprained her ankle. She is in a walking cast for the next couple of weeks or so. Also just moving in and saying “this is permanent” is difficult for all of us. Maggie and Ezra are struggling because they want to stay at Grandma and Grandpas forever in their words. They miss their home in Morocco, their brothers and their dog. For Lynn and I it is difficult because we never thought that we would be back in the States again. We had committed to living out our lives in Morocco. Our reasoning was that e were going to be taking in children and if we left after they had grown up and moved on, we were still the only family the children would have. To leave them with no family would have been worse. Unfortunately for all of us at VOH this is not going to happen. We do have a court case that has just been moved again to another date because of Ramadan. So we will find out as all the documents have been submitted and now are just waiting. Still a long shot but we are trusting in the LORD. We have heard from some staff in Morocco that Samir is doing well, we received a picture and he is still drooling when he eats and Mouhcine is trying to talk.

Pray for us as we deal with all of hearts in this permanent move. We are thankful to GOD for this new home. We just miss our children and the work we were doing and the things that we were trying to accomplish.

Pray for the Moroccan staff at VOH as it is Ramadan and they are hungry and the children are eating as they are to young to participate in Ramadan. Pray for patience.

Pray for Children as they too are angry about the deportations and miss their parents and families.

Pray that our court case would eventually take place. Pray for the leadership and lawyers that all would go well in their research and defense of the law.

Praise: We also want to thank GOD for the BODY here at CC Aurora. They have come along side us and we have a fully stocked house. Beds, Blankets, Kitchen is loaded, Washer and Dryer, clothes…. The men’s ministry making pickups and unloading and moving furniture. A family here lent us their garage to store things. It has been so overwhelming yet a great blessing. Also Lynn’s family for all the help in Moving and all the clothes and toys they provided for us when we arrived. Lynn’s parents have been awesome also. They changed there lives for us over the last few months to support us.

Also to all of you that have been praying, emailing encouragement, financial support us and to those who sent letters and clothing to my family as we transitioned home. And to the staff at CC Aurora for letting us call when ever and calling us to see how we are doing and praying for us.

Thank you. Hebrews 11:13-16

Pray for those Not home yet:

Eddie,Lynn,Maggie,Ezra and for Samir and Mouhcine

Adam,Karim,Daoud,Samih,Imad,Nassim,Abir,Nejma and Kenza

-Praise God that at least the voting process on Aug 4th was peaceful for Kenya. Kenya’s new Constitution has passed which unfortunately restricts the freedom to propagate one’s faith openly and is now beginning to hand over more rights to the Muslims.

- A few days before we boarded the plane for the States, our team was able to shift/move to a safer community where we were able to find 3 homes near to one another. Thank you for your prayers concerning our housing situation.

Prayer requests:

*Please pray that we would continue to be faithful to take advantage of the window of opportunity that still remains open at this time to disciple and raise up nationals to reach their own.

*Please pray that the construction on the home would be properly completed before we return as the water tanks, and electricity meters are still being installed.

*Please pray for wisdom for Nasiema in balancing her time trying to prepare and home school while on furlough in the States without an established routine. Please pray that she would be yielded in her spirit to minister however the Lord sees fit in any given moment, joyfully as unto the Lord.

*Please pray for my time of preparation to minister to these missionaries-in-training, and for the preparation of their hearts to receive what the Lord has for them during this time. Once I begin teaching the EMT program, I will be in Murrieta while my family will remain behind in Placentia.

*Please pray for the boy’s hearts to find comfort and joy in the Lord during the transition away from daddy for the 8 week duration, and for obedient hearts while mama will be “alone” discipling the boys while I will be away (I will only be able to meet with my family on some weekends during this time).

Although we are in the States, I will continue to run the Bible College.

*Please pray for diligence and efficiency with my time as I work on administration so the school can continue

*Please pray for continued direction/leading in my preparation for the Extreme Missions Training Program starting in mid September.

*Between study time and preparing administration, please pray for the preparation of my own heart as I teach in various speaking engagements

*Most importantly, I ask for prayer in the midst of business, to be faithful to my family.

-Divine appointments for us to be able to share our vision about starting a church in Greece

-We need around $200 a month to pay for Travis’s pills to be shipped from Hungary, since he still cannot get medical insurance in the U.S. because of his pre-existing condition; it is cheaper to buy them there.

-We still need money for groceries and to help out with utilities where we are living

-Language study! We need grace big time to help us learn this challenging language

-Continued health for the girls

-Kristin is having some abdominal pains again, quite frequently, so prayer for wisdom on how to approach this

-For Frank and Suzie, provision to pay off some things in Italy, and also that they would be able to adjust well to living in Hungary, and that they would be a total blessing to the Wilbank family in Sopron (Praise God for a successful Yo-Yo tournament!)

-For the Kula family to have a good rest of their furlough in Southern California (it has been so amazing to see them!)

-God provided for Kristin to get her eyes checked; now we just need money to pay for new glasses. This is a big need because since her old prescription is so different from her new one, she has been dealing with a lot of headaches.

-For our trip to Tahoe and that God would provide us with a time to share with our unsaved family members

Thank you for praying with us!

We have had a very blessed week. This past Sunday at the 8 am service we hosted a breakfast after the service. This was the first time this had ever been done. We were blessed with two new supporters. Thank you for keeping us lifted up. In July we were at 50% and now already we are at 71 % supported.

— Pray for perfect timing in getting new renters into our home here in Virginia.

—Pray for working out car insurance details this week. We have been blessed to have free use of a car. We now need to change over the title, plates and insurance. .

—Pray for Michelle as she continues to heal from an infection that she has.

—Pray for Megan to have a very blessed week as she turns 15 on Tuesday.

—Prayers for details of house and ministry in Hungary. The young couple that has been taking care of our home need to leave in September. We will not return until Nov 3, pray for someone in Esztergom that will be able to take care of the house and ministry.

Thank you all for lifting these prayers up on our behalf. We see the answer to your prayers every week.

There were 72 college students and 28 staff on project in Santa Monica. In just 6 weeks we got to share the gospel with over 1,500 people and saw 7 people put their faith in Christ.

Please pray for Ling Ling (a girl I met from China who receive Christ with me on the beach in Santa Monica) as we go through follow up via email while she is still here in America. And PRAISE HIM for this new life!

Please pray I meet new people who would like to join my ministry team as I am in need of raising $500 in monthly support before the month of August.

Pray for my time as I travel back to Santa Monica to help close up the summer project the first week of project.

Pray too for my schedule in August as I gear up to start back up for the fall semester.

Thanks for praying!

Our Family:
1. We kindly ask that you will pray for the safety of our team as we live in a difficult part of town, and that Lord willing, God would provide for safer housing.
2. Please pray for God’s hand of protection to be upon His people especially before and after August 4th 2010 (voting day) and that the new proposed constitution would be rejected.

Our Ministry:

1. Praises: Calvary Chapel Nairobi’s Women’sConference…Nasiema’s teaching at the conference. Thank you for praying for her time of preparation in the midst of a busy home life.

2. Pre-marital Counseling- Nasiema and I have recently been asked to be the “Best Couple”(equivalent to “spiritual parents”) for another couple to be married in November and have begun counseling. I will be officiating the wedding of another couple we have been counseling in December as well…Please pray for wisdom in our counsel, and for the proper esteem of God and His Word in these couples’ lives.

3. Mombasa Church Plant- Please pray that God will meet the needs for Benedictor and his family as he steps out in faith August 2010 and that God will continue to prepare the hearts and logistics of his team members that desire to co-labor with him. Pray for health and protection physically and spiritually over his family (his wife Millicent is in her 2nd trimester with their 2nd child). Please continue to pray for wisdom as I am taking on the additional role as “Missions Pastor”, encouraging and discipling our brothers, being the liaison between CCN and those starting church plants in Africa out of CCN.

4.Congo Church Plant-Please continue to pray for Ibrahim, his wife Masoka and their 9 children that recently joined him in the Congo, for a place to re-settle, for God’s divine intervention in leading him in his vision for a church plant, for the logistics and support needed, against corruption, for health and protection physically and spiritually over his family. Please continue to pray for adequate translations of the Bible in Kiswahili that many at the conference last month were requesting to replace the many JW translations.

5. Speaking/sharing engagements in the U.S.A- I will be available during the Months of August through mid November to guest speak in churches during our furlough to share what God is doing through our family here in Kenya.

6. Extreme Missions Training Program- Our King has opened a door for me to be a part of Far Reaching Ministries EMT Program. I will be able to disciple individuals who desire to serve as missionaries. This will entail two months in the States teaching the practicals and theory of missions along with literal application as they return with me to Kenya for 6 months on the mission field. Please pray for my time of preparation to minister to these missionaries-in-training, and for the preparation of their hearts to receive what the Lord has for them during this time.

Thank you again for co-laboring with us for the gospel’s sake.

By His grace, for His glory,
