SGWM Weekly Prayer Update July13-20, 2010

Praise report Jill was approved for 10 years of Ugandan Residency.

Please continue to pray for the people in Kampala; for their safety and healing after the bombings.

Pray for Jill as she has been sick with an unknown parasite for more then a week now.

Pray for Brian as he teaches while Pastor Brian is on Furlough

Pray for our upcoming summer conferences and outreaches

Pray for our on going ministries in Uganda.

Praises:

1. A safe and fun trip to my parents house and to the central coast!

2. God’s provision for repairs on our truck! My parents helped us with a new tire and replacing various lights that went out! Praise the LORD for them

3. For an increase in support to help pay for our hospital bills for Josiah! Praise the LORD for HIS great provision!!!

Prayer requests:

1. Cindy as she steps back into working with Saving Grace World Missions.  Pray for wisdom and grace as she will be working from home and taking care of their bundle of Joy, Josiah! Pray for clear communication and that her new training will be easy to learn.  She will be doing a new role by sending out the updates, prayer requests, etc for all the missionaries of SGWM.  Pray for Josiah as he learns to play by himself so momma can work! Pray for good time management for Cindy in all she does from home.

2.  Our Marriage- pray for clear, open, honest communication and that we would remember to love one another with Christ’s love.  Pray that we would reflect 1 Corinthians 13! Pray that we would understand one another and be open to what God wants us to learn from one another!

3. Please continue to pray for Josiah’s health. Pray for protection for him and for wisdom as parents with various viruses going around.

4. Pray for wisdom and discernment in raising Josiah!  That we would be on the same page as a couple in leading, guiding and training our little one.  Pray for wisdom as we discuss the future need for disciple and how we should go about that.

5. Pray for us as we raise support! We are currently at 33% of our total goal and need to be 100% by Sept 9th.  Pray for God to move in hearts and lead us to those He has already prepared to give!

Thanks so much for praying! You are a vital part of our lives and ministry!

•Praises for continued protection and safety during our travels.

•Pray for our two children at summer camp in West Va, for their safety and wisdom.
•Continued prayer for open doors to share about Kids Club Ministry
•Pray for safety we travel back to West Va to pickup our kids on Thur.
•Wisdom for housing details, rental house here in Va either need new renters or praying about selling.
•Pray for patience as Esztergom church waits for our return,Lord’s timing would be perfect.

PRAISE AND PRAYER REQUESTS:

* Children at VOH:  Please keep praying for all of the 33 children from the Village of Hope.  One girl has returned to an institution in another city, and little Simo with cerebral palsy is at a handicapped center in another city.

* Workers from VOH:  Pray for the local workers that lost their jobs when we left.  Pray for them to reach out to God and for His provision for them and their families.

* Workers that are caring for the children:  Pray for the workers that are still at VOH taking care of the children.  They are doing their best to help the children through this difficult separation.

* VOH staff:  Please pray for all of the families that had to leave VOH and return to their home countries.  Pray for God’s wisdom and leading in how to respond to this situation.

* Housing:  Pray for God’s leading for housing in Aurora.

* Eddie:  Pray for God’s will for him regarding a job, and for discipline with the health care that he is getting for diabetes.

* Lynn:  Pray for wisdom and strength as she starts a new job on July 26.

* Maggie:  Pray for her heart to be comforted, and for God’s will about where she will attend kindergarten.

* Ezra:  Pray for his heart to be comforted also, and for wisdom regarding child care for him if and when the time comes that we would need that.

* Marriage:  Pray for good communication, wisdom, and prayer time together.

* Spiritual foundation:  please pray for our home to be firmly established in the Word and in prayer.
