Thank you so much for your continued prayers and love and emails that have held us up during this time.  Today it has been 3 weeks since we left our boys and the work that we were doing at the Village of Hope.  While we are trying to make decisions and start over here in the US, our hearts are still breaking over what has happened and we can hardly believe still that we are here.  We have been held up and sustained by so many prayers and words of love and encouragement.  We have also received many wonderful gifts from friends and also from people that we did not even know.  Two big news items:  1) We will be in California from March 30th to April 12th.  We are hoping to connect with many friends and family.  2) You can listen to a newscast that was aired here in Colorado on a major news channel today, (3-29-10).  Go to www.9news.com and click on “Home” and you will see the headline for our story. When you click on that you can read the story, watch the newscast, and see pictures. Here are a few praises and prayer requests:

Praises:

*  Praise God that we have been blessed with having a roof over our heads, and donations of clothes, shoes, home school items, toys, and books.  We are blessed to be here with family and friends, both new and old.

* Ezra is much better from the cold and cough that he had.  He took medication to prevent pneumonia and just finished it, but he still has a little cough that is lingering.

* We have good friends who have helped us get to California for a visit.  We are looking forward to seeing many of our faithful friends and prayer warriors while we are there.

* We have heard that some of the VOH staff are still on site taking care of our children.  This is a blessing because the children are still together, in their familiar environment, with people that know them and love them.

Prayer Requests:
* Please pray for our time in California.  Pray for safe travels, that Maggie and Ezra will travel well, wisdom in knowing how best to spend our time, adjustment for Maggie and Ezra to new environments and people, and just good quality time of fellowship with many friends and family

* Children of VOH:  continue to pray for Samir, Mouhcine, and all of the other children that are still at VOH.  The people taking care of them say that they are doing well but still missing their parents.

* Workers of VOH:  pray for the workers at VOH, especially the ones that are still there taking care of the children, and for all those that lost their jobs and their income

* Wisdom in “starting over”:  please pray for us as we slowly make decisions about what to do next.  We are applying for jobs and need to pray about schooling for Maggie in the fall.

Thank you for your prayers!

The McCartney Family (Sam, Michelle, Megan, Michael)

Praise God for many answered prayers. We had a great time in California training with SGWM. We have had many divine meetings while there. Many blessings were provided for us. We are now in Ohio visiting relatives. We will be departing from Ohio on April 1 to return to Virginia. This is where we will spend most of our time in the States. Please pray that the Lord would continue to protect us on our travels. Also pray for continued open doors with churches and individuals as we are raising support. Please pray for my mom’s health. She is 83, she loves the Lord and is a big encouragement to us in the mission field. Our daughter Megan will be raising support for a school mission trip to Kentucky this April. Please pray for this funding to come in if it is the Lords will for her to go. Thank you for all your prayer on our behalf.

Pankaj and I got engaged March 25th!!!  We are both very excited to start planning our lives and ministry together out here and would love your prayer support while we start this new chapter in our lives.  Please also pray that the application process for Pankaj’s visa goes smooth and quickly.  We are hoping/praying that he will be able to come back to the States with me in May so that he can “officially” meet my family and friends.  We will also have the wedding ceremony out in California and he will attend Calvary Chapel’s School of Worship from August 2010 – May 2011 (God willing) and then we will return to Nepal to start our ministry out here.

Thank you for your prayers,

Newcastle, England

Drew and Tammy Davis

Prayer Points:
•For Satan to be bound over the lives of the youth of Newcastle

•For a cohesion, love, and passionate pursuit of Jesus for our staff team (Adam, Evan, Sarah, Tammy, Drew, Josh-coming soon)

•For Tammy as she has cut her hours in half and is at home with the kids much more.

•For Beth, Chelsea, Kiren, Sam, and Samantha who have recently committed their lives to God.

•For our church’s financial situation: Though Tammy and I are still supported from the States the church has actually become self sustaining. This has been a challenge in the past since the church is made up of so many young people without jobs, though between the giving of the people in the church and with the money raised through the coffee shop we have become self sustaining. With Adam and Evan here this has added to the financial obligations of the church. They are partially supported from the States but the church here has to partially support them as well. We pay for part of the rental costs for their home and for some of Evan’s food costs. This has given us a shortfall of $450 a month. $350 for rent $100 for Evan’s food. I know this is a hard financial season for many but if anyone is able to help out with even a small part of their needs it would be thankfully received as they are bringing so much relief on us by being here. Please contact me by email drewdavis@hotmail.co.uk if you’re able to help in this way and to discuss how and for what duration of time as these will hopefully not be long term financial needs and will be somewhat changing in 6 months time. And thank you everyone who has been faithfully supporting Tammy and I through these challenging financial times.

Thak you for your faithful prayers

Mike and Erin Thiemann

•Erin got hit with the cold that is going around. Please pray that she gets over this cold quickly.

•Please pray for our upcoming Golf Tournament in August.

•Please pray for Erin as she steps in and learns the Administrative Assistant position

•Please pray that Erin and I would be able to get done in a day everything that needs to be done

•Please pray for our financial support. We are praying that the Lord would provide us with 25 people who are willing to support us $20 per-month (please pray with us… and if you are interested in being apart of our support team please visit our personal page on sgwm.com @ www.sgwm.com/thiemann.

Please pray that the transition would go smoothly as we move all our missionaries onto the new website management system. God has blessed us with some amazing tools, like the sgwm.com website and things like Facebook and the SGWM News Blog. To give you some examples of what God is doing… In the past 35 days we have had over 2,100 unique hits (that individual people) visit our SGWM News Blog (www.sgwm.com/newsblog). On Facebook we get an average of 520 interactions per-week, and on www.sgwm.com we get about 500 unique visitors per day and they are branching out to all our missionaries pages. These stats are amazing! The website has become such an amazing tool to help us spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by promoting our missionaries and all the great things that God is doing in and through their ministries around the world.

Please pray for the website and Facebook that God would continue to grow them… and that the missionaries would be faithful to always send out updates, prayer requests and news articles.

Thanks and God Bless,
Mike & Erin Thiemann – mikethiemann@gmail.com
