UPDATE FROM DREW AND TAMMY DAVIS AT CALVARY CHAPEL NEWCASTLE

This Saturday we will be having a big music outreach for the youth (called “Golgotha”)- pray for kids salvation. Can you please also pray specifically for a kid we love dearly named pottsy. He always is going back an forth with the lord, but for the most part seems to be a negative influence among the newer youth who become Christians. He say’s he’s a Christian but often pulls the new kids back to their old ways. We love him and have spent years pouring out to him, but it almost seems like he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. This kid needs to either really surrender his life to God or stop hanging around the other kids. We need wisdom how to deal with him.

This Sunday night will be our first prayer and worship night, and are praying that the Spirit of God will really use it to knit our hearts closer together and to His will for us as a church. We are also planning for these once a month nights to be a time were we intentionally seek to practice some of the gifts for the edifying of the body and pray they will be fruitful.
