Calvary Chapel Reaches Pakistan Christians Schools

Blessings! Last week, Joseph and his father Arif visited Christian institutes; we have four main Christian institutes in Gujranwala.

• Christian Primary School and Christian High School
• Christian Technical Training Center (CTTC)
• Village Schools institute
• United Bible Training Center for Women

Joseph went to these institutes to share two pamphlets we translated and printed in December. These pamphlets were produced by the, “Institute of Religious Research (IRR)” and they give awareness of the false teachings of the Mormons and Jehovah’s Witness. Never in Pakistan has anyone done this before. The principals of these institutes were very happy and they wanted their students to read these pamphlets. All the teachers liked those wonderful studies.

One lady who is principal of a Christian High School told Joseph that they had a very good student in their school that was given a job in the school office after he completed his schooling and college.

He was a very smart young man. Nobody knows how he met some Mormons, he continued his fellowship with them and they offered him money and gave him some other offers. He has quit his job at the school and joined the Mormons and they have made him in charge of their different projects. He is making good money there but is misled and now he is misleading many young men and women and getting them to join the Mormon Church.

The principal was sad for that and she shared her desire for the students to be given pure biblical education and awareness about all these false teachings and doctrines. She sent a request by Joseph asking me to teach their students. Her husband is a board member at the Presbyterian Church; they have offered us the use of their big church any time for our seminars and teachings. They are asking us to have seminar with their students, as the principal wants the students to be strong in Christ and be able to resist any kind of false teaching and greediness.

Joseph shared with her and the other institutes that we have other books for students and adults. The principals of these institutes were very glad and they requested Joseph to provide them books. Now they have stated teaching from the World Missionary Press Books in Schools here. They have requested a regular supply.

Village schools have about 50 branches in many other areas of Pakistan. They wish us to give them books for all the schools. We praise God and pray that may He provide the need of this spiritual food for this new generation.
