Salvation
The Bible says that all of us need to be “born again.” There was a man in the Bible who had a hard time understanding this truth. His name was Nicodemus.
When Nicodemus comes to Jesus with questions, Jesus told him, “‘Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Jesus was explaining a spiritual birth. When you are born again, God’s Holy Spirit breathes new life into your spirit. Christ is then born in you spiritually.
When you ask Christ to come into your heart, He gives you a fresh start in life. In fact, the Bible calls you a “new creation.” “If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone and behold, God has made all things new! (II Corinthians 5:17). The Spirit of God Himself has now come to live inside of your heart.
The Bible says, “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
You can experience the miracle of salvation right now. Simply invite Jesus to come into your life and forgive you for all of your sins. Pray right now:
“Jesus, I want to be born again. Please forgive my sins. I confess that You are Lord. Come into my life, and make me into a new creation. Fill me with Your Spirit. Thank you for giving me hope and purpose. Help me live for You. Amen.”
